There I was sorting out some blog bits and all of a sudden it was midnight, must have been having fun.
As part of my new year drive to sort stuff out and to stop paying for stuff I don’t use I finally decommissioned my virtual server hosting, which will save me around £15 a month. My db4dawn blog has with wordpress.com for a while and I may at some point upgrade it to a pro package. I already have a pro package for the blog I plan to use for my professional writing stuff kjrickis.com and as part of my move away from self hosting I have set up a blog for my film production identity Persuasive Penguin, no link as there is no content and I haven’t made a film yet. 
My programming web sites now point to a Drupal Gardens site.
I will be using this blog mainly for funny bits, photos, rants etc. If you are looking for political insight or in fact any insight at all I doubt this will be the place.
Anyway I’d better head as I really would like to get up early fro a walk tomorrow morning.

What exactly is the pro package? How much is it? You can get web hosting for only 5 bucks a month for blogs at the place I use, and then you can do whatever you want with it, w/o depending on WP for stuff! =)
Hi Melby, welcome to my blog. For years I self hosted but I can’t be bothered these days. Also my job involves a lot of host master work so I don’t need any more practice.
