Focus

As has been all too common in my life I have lost any sort of focus. I have lots of ideas and plans most of which will never become more than fading dreams. This blog is a prime example. What is it about? Original I wanted it to be a sort of life journal but maybe that is better done on things like Facebook etc I also seem to have so little life worth writing about anyway.

I also wanted it to be an outlet for my creative writing but I don’t think that has worked as I write too infrequently, also as the work tends to be underdeveloped it should really be in a writing community where the readers are looking to engage as part of the process, a blog like this is not really a suitable medium for short stories I feel.

If I had kids or a dog I could make the main focus about them, but I don’t and I don’t think the adventures of a Goldfish would attract many readers.

Fresh ideas on their way soon, I hope.

I find I blog less these days but I’m trying to focus less on web stuff anyway. Since I got a part-time job in town there’s loads I’d love to blog about but can’t because I won’t put work-related stuff online.

You’ll get back into it when you feel it again and if you don’t feel it here, you will have likely moved on to a platform that suits your evolution better. (Though I must say, I’m not following you into Facebook, so I hope you stay in a more public space. )
