I took 4 minutes and 19 seconds off my time for the Helensburgh 10k, no blisters and feeling quite good. I will do a fuller report over at Beat the Hour at the weekend.

Wow! Great job Kev!
Run like the wind! Good job beating your record. If I ran about 100 meters I would need extra oxygen.
Great work Kev.. Keep it up..
I’ve always wanted to ask, you run for pleasure or to remain fit or some other reason?
Thank you all. AJ at times I think the answer to your question is somewhere between stupidity and insanity, at least that is what I feel around 6km
But really it is to keep me a little fit and I do enjoy taking part in the races.
That’s good.. If you enjoy it, then it is the best way to remain fit. And I can completely relate to how you feel at 6 km. I felt the same when my temp PT coach was pushing me beyond my limits. But the results of that now make me feel like it was awesome and worth it
