I had the toe redressed today and the nail was gone, I am sure it was in the dressing somewhere but the nurse insisted it wasn’t. It looked okay and it wasn’t bleeding so Yay!

Thank you Nan and Ruth. The most painful part was the two injections to numb my toe before the lump and nail was removed, but I was a big boy and didn’t cry
Afterwards I had painkillers to take so it wasn’t too bad.
It is almost healed now and I have a couple more day of antibiotics and dressing to go, time will tell if the nail grows back.
