Today’s Inspiration
What has happened?
Where has it gone?
Did I take a wrong turning?
Did I get something wrong?
The spark has faded,
Am I burned out?
I revel in being jaded.
Have I been counted out?
The revolution never happened.
It never left my head!
Today’s inspiration,
largely mourns the dead.
The game has changed,
in a sinister way.
The stakes are high,
it’s expensive to play.
It’s not supposed to be this way!
Not me, not this.
But the fight goes on.
For this is all there is!
