I am just back from a great evening in the Rubaiyat pub in Byres Road, putting the world to rights with my blog pal Louise.
Below is a rather poor phone cam shot of a sign in the pub, so please trust me when I say that the third from bottom line reads.
Children must remain seated at your table.
Okay fair enough, I guess the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Child Catcher option of putting them in cages suspended from the ceiling is not acceptable now-a-days. 
The next line says.
Children must be accompanied by an adult when they visit the toilets.
Fair enough again, child protection is important and you don’t want them buying an inflatable sheep from the machines in there. However the darling tykes ”must remain seated at your table. ” So it is going to be a bit of a logistical nightmare isn’t it!
You can see the last line clearly enough, do I have to say more.
