Weekend bitz

Okay, okay it has been a few days since I posted but I have been busy okay! The International Ferret Conspiracy won’t start itself you know!
Okay that is enough Jamming

I spent Wednesday and Thursday at the SETT show, count yourselves lucky I don’t have any pictures of me as a Booth Babe!

On Friday I was at the launch party for Torch written by my friend and former colleague Lin Anderson. It was a good night out and it was nice to catch up with a few people that I had not seen for a few years.

Most of the rest of the weekend was a Busman’s holiday, my parents iMac needed upgraded to Mac OS X as so that they could use iChat on the Broadband which had kicked in on Friday. I upgraded the hard disk to 40 gig and I need to get some more memory for it.

I have had a couple of ideas for short stories so if I get time I will try and release them. :-) The creative writing course I am taking starts on the 6th of October.

    Good to see you back Kev!

    I saw you popping in and out of iChat and can only imagine that you might be testing the new setup with your parents iMac…

    I look forward to hearing more about your writing class! I’ve always loved to write and do a lot of snippets on both paper and in TextEdit, but haven’t really pursued much else with it. Good luck to you on that! You’ll have to tell us all about it.

    I’ve been taking lots of pics today… if you want to see some of them, I put up a quickie gallery of all the photos I took today. It’s really just for Neil’s review, but I’d not mind if you poked around in it if you want… :) Here’s the link:

    I can’t wait to get my hands on a better camera! I like this one, but I need more control…

    Hi jEN,

    yes I am getting things worked out with iChat, I am going to give them my old USB cam and Val will install the USB iSight hack tomorrow hopefully it will work, fingers crossed.

    I have had a look at the gallery, very good, I liked a lot of the shots you are so lucky to have so much light to play with ;-(
    Your camera seems to have good depth but I know what you mean, it is good to have options to play with.

    I loved the turtle, mind you I think it was giving you the same look that Celebes give the Paparazzi :-)
