Melting

Well it is another hot and sticky day and tomorrow I will be back at work and I know that office will be unbearable.

The look of the new blog is coming together mainly an adaptation of the polyblog at the moment but I may do a better redesign later.

So I guess it is time for a “What I did on my holidays” bit.

The first week I mainly veg’ed out at the flat. I did start to set up a WiFi network but I am still waiting for AirPort express to become available in the UK.

The second week of my holiday I spent back in Edinburgh, I discovered that I have an allergy to cat hair! My parents neighbor’s cats are often in my parents house and the last twice I have been back I have become wheeze and had difficulty breathing. :-(
This was not welcomed as I was running in a 5K fun run on Wednesday evening. My chest had more or less cleared by then and I finished in 27 minutes and 30 seconds, which was not bad as it was not as flat as my first 5k a few weeks ago which too 25 minutes and 23 seconds. The 10K is approaching fast and I will have to get out on the road next week once the blister that I got from my new shoes has healed a bit more.

I met up with Lewis, my former boss, and we even popped into GWC and I got the chance to catch up with a few people.

I also went totally sad-geek during my holiday and bought an iPod mini on the first day of sale in the UK.

Later,

Kev.
